Southern Inyo Healthcare District has partnered with UC Davis Health to build a quality wound care program in Lone Pine, CA. Our renowned experts are bringing advanced multidisciplinary wound care consultation to patients, no matter where they live.

Outpatient wound care programs have been shown to be effective in treating chronic wounds, a condition that affects nearly 2.5% of the U.S. population – at least 6.7 million people. In a five-year study reported by Medscape (“Wound Care Outcomes and Associated Cost Among Patients Treated in U.S. Outpatient Wound Centers”) demonstrates the impact of wound care clinics. Out of the 5,240 wound care patients treated over five years at U.S. outpatient wound clinics, 66.8 percent were healed by their final visit, according to data from the U.S. Wound Registry from 2005-2010 (Link).
