Southern Inyo Hospital is now offering infusion therapy. Infusion therapy is offered as a way of delivering medication that can’t be taken orally, or that need to be dispensed at a regulated pace. Infusions are delivered through a needle or catheter, typically intravenously (through an IV).
These infusion treatments are administered by a dedicated and compassionate team of Registered Nurses, weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays:
Hydration infusions.
Blood product infusions and phlebotomy.
Antibiotic infusions.
Oncology infusions (immunotherapy).
If your doctor has ordered any of these infusions, there is no need for long-distance traveling to receive them. We are here for you, right here in Lone Pine. We offer a comfortable and peaceful environment to receive treatment, and our experienced nursing staff will ensure that you have the easiest and most pleasant experience possible.
