Ismael Cota, a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, has been a health care provider for 23 years.

He graduated from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles with a Master’s of Science in Nursing, and has since dedicated his career to underserved communities.

He has accumulated decades of experience working in the Emergency Department for LA. County Department of Health Services, in addition to treating patients at the Lone Pine Rural Health Clinic. Dr. Cota is a diabetes specialist and certified diabetes educator, and is also fluent in Spanish.
